Current Volunteer Opportunities

Current Warehouse & Event Volunteer Opportunities & Needs:

Food Pantry Greeters: Assist coordinator with checking in clients, enter client information into computer and consult with clients about needs, track daily data in database, and aid the coordinator in other office tasks. There are shifts Monday through Saturday 9:15am-11:30am and 12:15pm-3:30pm.

Food Pantry Stockers: Assist the Sunshine Division by helping provide emergency food and clothing as well as providing excellent service to our clients. This position will help in packing boxes of food, stocking the food pantry, and interacting with clients in a positive manner. There are shifts Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Clothing Store Assistant: Responsible for assisting our clients through the clothing room using good customer service skills. This includes welcoming them, explaining how the clothing room works, assisting in their selections, and weighing and bagging their clothing. There are shifts Monday through Saturday 9:15am-11:30am and 12:15pm-3:30pm.

Clothing Sorter: Sort through the clothing donated to Sunshine Division and hang up clothing in the clothing room when there are gaps on the racks. There are shifts Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Current Intern needs:

Client Services and Data Intern: Assist coordinator with checking in clients, enter client information into computer and consult with clients about needs, track daily data in database, and aid the coordinator in other office tasks. 2-3 days a week 8-12 hours.
