Thanks to hundreds of dedicated volunteers we are able to keep operating costs very low. However, because we are a small organization dependent upon incoming food and clothing donations our volunteer opportunities are not always consistent.

Here's how you can get involved:

If you are looking for a regular opportunity between our business hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm Monday through Friday, please contact us; possibilities include working in our clothing room, handing food out to clients, sorting food, and more. We conduct background checks on all volunteers who will be in our warehouse.

Volunteer Parties & Groups

We can almost always accommodate groups that want to volunteer; the activities will vary based on our current needs - packing emergency food boxes, sorting food, sorting clothing, painting projects, etc. It's helpful for us plan for volunteer groups at least a month in advance. Event help

At the holidays, we participate in a wide variety of outreach and benefit events and we need your volunteer support.  If you'd like to volunteer at events out in the community, please send us an email at kristi@sunshinedivision.org to be added to our volunteer list.
